[JOB] Junior Game Writer (Female)
Playtra is looking for an absurdly talented female junior game writer with a flair for eye-misting, giggle-inducing, heart-racing tales, for a 6 months gig (potentially moving to permanent).
You will be responsible to bring to life the story of a squad of kindhearted female gladiators and the world they inhabit. Bad news? You will also be responsible for tutorial writing… Well... that may be your thing!
You will be working with our Game Director and lead artist, building the lore, events and dialogues of this world. Being the master (“mistress” fell out of use…) of dialogue flowcharts and being able to work following an Agile philosophy are also a huge plus.
We expect you to bring more than your writing skills, though. Your passion for videogames and great ideas are just as important.
You can join us only for this project as a standard freelancer or we can discuss a more permanent arrangement with shares equity options.
We are looking for someone to work locally, in central London, but we may consider remote work if you're the right person.
This is a role for a FEMALE game writer only, considering the stories we want to tell, so, sorry boys, your time will come.
Send your resume and examples of your work to email@example.com and help create the games that define a generation.
We will not be considering agencies at this point.
Playtra is an independent mobile game studio based in London.
Our mission is to create games that define a generation.
We believe games have the power to change everything. Great games have been inspiring people since the dawn of humanity, and we will still be playing games when we're all living inside asteroids, in the depths of space.
Games push the boundaries of what is possible in technology and art. Playtra wants to create those games. We aspire to be pioneers, creating the new worlds that gamers will inhabit for many years to come.
That is a monumental task, and we want you, independent thinkers, visionary artists and ground-breaking innovators, to join our ranks.
Redefine fun. Build memories. Create legacy...
...and tell the stories that will change our world for generations to come.
